For Individuals

Online Psychotherapy for Adults

Individual psychotherapy offers a confidential space to explore emotional difficulties, understand patterns, navigate life transitions, and develop new ways of relating to yourself and others.

My approach considers each person's history, relationships, cultural context, and current circumstances. Sessions are tailored to the needs and goals of the therapeutic process.

Sessions are available in Portuguese and Spanish.

How I Can Support You

Anxiety & Emotional Overwhelm

Persistent worry, tension, difficulty resting, feeling emotionally overwhelmed, or struggling to manage the demands of everyday life.

Grief & Loss

Support through experiences of loss, including the death of someone important, separation, significant changes, endings, and other transitions that may involve grief.

Migration & Cultural Adjustment

Emotional challenges related to living in another country, adapting to a new culture, being away from family, rebuilding relationships, and navigating changes in identity and belonging.

Identity & Belonging

Exploring questions related to identity, belonging, personal change, and the experience of moving between different cultures, environments, or stages of life.

Life Transitions & Change

Professional, family, relationship, or personal changes that may bring uncertainty, anxiety, emotional discomfort, or the need to reorganize different areas of life.

Relationships & Connection

Difficulties in romantic, family, or interpersonal relationships, including communication, boundaries, recurring relationship patterns, and ways of building healthier connections.

Difficult Experiences & Emotional Impact

Support for people who have experienced difficult situations or periods of emotional vulnerability and would like to better understand how those experiences may be affecting their present life.

Living Between Cultures

Migration is not simply about moving from one place to another.

It can involve loss, rebuilding relationships, changes in identity, homesickness, adapting to unfamiliar cultural expectations, and the experience of belonging to more than one place — or, at times, feeling that you fully belong nowhere.

My clinical and academic work includes a particular interest in mental health within contexts of migration, cultural adjustment, identity, and psychological resilience.

Psychotherapy is available in Portuguese and Spanish, allowing you to speak about your experiences in the language in which you feel most comfortable expressing yourself.
