About me
Clinical psychologist and researcher with expertise in cross-cultural trauma, resilience, and migration. I integrate clinical experience, social-emotional interventions, and collaborative research. Currently co-authoring an integrative literature review on help-seeking attitudes, resilience, and psychological tolerance in collaboration with Louisiana Tech University. I am actively pursuing doctoral studies focused on multicultural mental health and culturally responsive care.
My academic and professional journey reflects a deep commitment to advancing mental health, resilience, and psychosocial well-being among vulnerable and culturally diverse populations. As a clinical psychologist at Live Psychology and founder of Infinitamente Institute in São Paulo, Brazil, I have developed skills in clinical practice, applied research, and social-emotional education.
In my clinical and educational work, I have designed and facilitated programs promoting emotional regulation, resilience, and integration—particularly for primary and secondary school students. My work is grounded in multicultural settings, and I employ an intercultural approach that fosters trust, mutual understanding, and belonging across contexts of migration, adversity, and systemic inequality.
My research leadership includes projects such as the Support and Integration Program for Venezuelan Migrants with PTSD in Campinas, Brazil—recognized for its social impact and currently being prepared for international publication.
In this quantitative project, I led the design, fieldwork, and data analysis phases.
Additionally, through my volunteer work with the UNICEF Safe Family Program in Bolivia, I provide psycho-emotional support to children, adolescents, and families affected by violence, reinforcing my commitment to trauma-informed care and community resilience.
These experiences have enriched my therapeutic approach, sharpened my cultural sensitivity, and strengthened my dedication to applying psychological science to real-world challenges. I am deeply committed to promoting emotional well-being, equity, and social justice through both academic inquiry and community-based action.
These professional and research experiences have deepened my interest in how resilience, trauma, and cultural identity interact within diverse communities. I remain committed to expanding this work through integrative and culturally responsive approaches that bridge psychological science and real-world impact — particularly in contexts where access to care and belonging remain urgent needs.
